Bold Moves
Lynn Camp High School Media Arts student Cooper Mills recently teamed up with Mighty Cheer Signs, a local business known for its colorful, custom cheerleading signs, to create a high-energy video advertisement showcasing their products in action. The cheer team from LCHS, in Corbin, KY, is featured prominently in the video.
The project started with a planning meeting where Cooper’s Media Arts teacher, Brandi Mills, talked with the business owner to learn about the brand’s style, target audience, and goals. Mighty Cheer Signs wanted a short, engaging video that highlighted their bold colors, durability, and fast turnaround, while capturing the excitement of school spirit.

On-Site Filming
Cooper developed a storyboard, outlining how to show the signs in real cheer environments, paired with text and music to drive energy. Filming took place on-site, where Cooper recorded product close-ups and wide shots of the LCHS cheerleaders using the signs during practice. He paid careful attention to lighting, angles, and movement to make the footage as dynamic as possible.
Post-Production Work
In post-production, Cooper used Adobe Premiere Pro to edit the footage, blending slow-motion highlights with quick cuts to match the rhythm of the upbeat background music. He added motion graphics for the Mighty Cheer Signs logo and incorporated captions to emphasize key selling points. Throughout the process, Cooper learned how to translate a client’s vision into an engaging video, balance visuals with branding, and manage multiple technical steps from filming to final export. Mighty Cheer Signs praised the ad’s energy and polish, and Cooper gained a regal-world portfolio piece that showcased both his creativity and professionalism.
